It takes dedicated people to achieve our goal. Please\u00a0 fill\u00a0 in the form below, choose a commitment level and place in message box along with your message.<\/h4>\n<p>We beat the opposition in the recent RPV Parks Master Plan survey even though the survey question for a skatepark read &#8221; Do you support &#8211; oppose &#8211; or have no opinion&#8221;.   That question should have made it clear that we are self funded &#8211; that NO taxpayers money will be used for the skateable plaza. It is multi use with a large stage, we are even proposing to build a real public restroom which will end the chemical toilet usage.  <\/p>\n<p>SkateparkPV needs more active advocates to insure success in getting permission to build a self funded facility on public land. The recent Rancho Palos Verdes Dog Park at City Hall was approved and built with city funds as a result of the effort of a large number of dog park advocates who where persistent for a long time. With enough people Skateparkpv can achieve success. If dogs can have their own place to run our children should have a place to skate board at no cost to taxpayers.<\/p>\n<p>We have had multiple meetings with Rancho Palos Verdes city staff about permission to build a self funded concrete plaza near the new dog park where the sand volleyball court now exists at city hall.
